Dutch company data is now live inside openthebox. Search now covers a second market alongside Belgium, and two other things changed to support it: AI search now reads which country you're working in, and Advanced Search has been rebuilt around a country picker.

Netherlands Company Coverage
Dutch company profiles, built for how Dutch filings actually work
Until now, searching Dutch companies inside openthebox wasn't possible. Dutch company profiles are available directly in the platform from today, built around the Dutch filing system rather than adapted from the Belgian one.
Each Dutch company profile includes:
- Company and ownership profiles, including shareholder and participation structures
- Financials and annual accounts, on a dedicated subtab
- Activity codes (SBI), the Dutch equivalent of NACE, searchable and linked
- Establishments
Why it matters: anyone working across both markets, a bank with cross-border clients, a deal team chasing a target with a Dutch parent, no longer needs a separate tool or process for the Netherlands.
A note on scope: some of what makes Belgian coverage particularly deep (publications, articles, private capital and PE ownership signals, peer benchmarks, cash flow statements, and accountants) isn't part of this first Dutch release yet.
Market-Aware AI Search
AI search now knows which country you're asking about
AI search reads which country you're working in and pulls the correct filters for it. A question about a Dutch company returns Dutch answers rather than Belgian assumptions with a different flag attached.
Why it matters: the same search experience works whichever market you're in, without needing to phrase things differently per country.
Advanced Search, Rebuilt for Multiple Markets

Advanced Search changed alongside this launch to support more than one market properly.
What's included:
- A country scope picker at the top of Advanced Search
- Filter groups organised clearly, each with its own reset, with market specific filters shown only when relevant to your chosen country
- Saved searches now live in the top right and show a Belgium flag, since saved searches are only available for that market in this version
Why it matters: one workflow now covers both markets, rather than switching between separate processes for Belgium and the Netherlands.
What This Means Going Forward
Netherlands coverage is a new market inside the same platform, not a separate tool. Coverage will keep expanding from here.
